Pulse Dental is made by Alfo AI. It began as the analytics system for a two-location practice running Open Dental, built with the people who use it every morning.
Why it exists
The practice already had the data. It just could not see it.
Everything a practice needs to know is already in its practice management system: what was produced, what was collected, who is overdue, which treatment plans are waiting. Getting it out usually means running reports by hand and pasting them into a spreadsheet.
We built a system that reads those records continuously and turns them into a morning huddle, call lists and a clear picture of the month. After running it day to day in one practice, we rebuilt it as a product any Open Dental practice can install.
How we build
Four things we hold to.
Numbers should arrive on their own
If someone has to export a report before the owner can see how the month is going, the owner will mostly not see it.
A number should lead somewhere
Knowing that 7% of appointments were missed is trivia. A list of who missed and their phone numbers is work you can do.
Plain words
Pages say what they mean in the language a front office uses. If a page needs a glossary, the page is wrong.
Say what is true
We show where each number comes from and how fresh it is, including when a sync is behind.
